And then he went BLURP.....

The ironic thing about Mondays is that the morning seems to last forever. If one were to take a look around on Mondays one would notice that everything is long. Faces, bus lines, the morning brew, me (but that's another story really ... no im not showing off phah you minions of the short will never get it) , the list really goes on.

Stumbling into work on Monday (quiet literally because off some bastard who forgot to tidy up his wires over the weekend ... ohh wait that was me!) I realized that technology has come a long way. Gone are the days of overtly complicated hand drawn and hamster driven computers, today we have computers that are faster, smarted, slicker and in my case personality embedded than ever before.

My computer is moody to say the least. His morning cup of joe is 1 gigabyte large and he takes forever to go through it. At the end of his joe, he greats me with what could only be a binary finger and judging from how long the 1s are im guessing its located somewhere in the middle of his binary set of fingers. His groggy and most distasteful sense of being has almost led me to portray myself as an office slacker (which I maybe but if the world were to know we have no more seasons of the x-files ... wait that's a good thing .... note to self get an office slacker tattoo on your forehead).

After more than 50 years of independence I think I am the first of my kind to feel enslaved. Ironically not by a tyrannical king , despot or country but a shiny black IBM t41 (that's right I used your slave name die die die die die die .... ohh and please don't delete the c drive I need the files for tomorrow.) This is an outrage and I am here to put things right .. as of now I am no longer a slave and I shall no longer work at this snails pace. I have dignity , I have courage, I have free will ........... I have to wait till it stops hanging to finish writing this post.....

Sigh!

Sigmond the slacker , wishes he was a hacker , but for now hes got a magnet really close to his harddrive

Some people just don't know what to do with their...erm....hardware. Especially ones that have been kindly lent to them by well meaning individuals like sisters and multi-national corporations. Then these people go on to blame freedom from servitude, bus queues on Monday mornings and what not!! hmmmmmpppppfffffffffff
